About the Foundation
The Belmiro de Azevedo Foundation believes that Education has a very positive impact on people's lives and that opportunities are discovered, created and, above all, taken advantage of.
It therefore focuses its action on promoting Education , notably through support for educational projects that promote social inclusion and equal opportunities, also establishing scholarships and merit awards.
Still within the scope of its activities, it develops social solidarity initiatives, especially in support of the elderly, with a view to emotional well-being, increasing self-esteem and reducing isolation among the elderly population, as well as the development of Biodiversity projects, with a view to generating knowledge and promoting intergenerational solidarity.

It is known that one of the figures who most marked my life was my elementary school teacher . A teacher who demanded a lot of work, a lot of rigor and a lot of discipline, but, at the same time, was able to transmit a passion for the discovery of knowledge .
